    This is an entry level engineering position responsible for supporting all Equipment Service Center (ESC) repair processes, including:

    • Developing/documenting/improving ESC processes, including cost reductions and reliability improvements.
    • Providing knowledge and assistance to the new product development process, Production, and Materials teams.
    • Assuring existing product and process designs maintain integrity and quality. 

    Responsibilities

    • Process development -improving existing and new processes, creating process plans and equipment designs and documenting process validations.
    • Maintaining the integrity and quality of our products for our customers.
    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including FDA, MDD, UL, CSA, etc.
    • Development and execution of design qualification testing
    • Project leadership of product improvement projects
    • Root cause failure analysis and corrective actions.
    • Development/validation/documentation/maintenance of product test equipment and procedures.
    • Work with the materials support team to certify vendors for direct to stock/line programs.
    • Generation of test instructions and engineering orders.
    • Ensure that safe operating procedures are developed, communicated, and followed by all personnel.
    • Work to reduce costs and improve quality.

    Qualifications

    • BS degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
    • A minimum of 2 years of directly related work experience is required.
    • Knowledge of medical device requirements and experience with FDA a plus.
    • Computer literacy, networking knowledge and proficiency, Microsoft networking products.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Organized work methods with attention to detail.
    • Ability to bring assigned tasks to completion on time
