    LDI, A division of OSI Optoelectroncis, is seeking an experienced Wafer Fabrication Process Engineer.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist wafer fab personnel in operation of electron beam deposition equipment
    • Oversee photolithography wafer processing operation
    • Assist operators where needed with wafer fabrication problem solving
    • Schedule maintenance and be skilled with High vacuum equipment (cryo pumps, mechanical pumps)
    • Process equipment troubleshooting
    • Identify process improvements and implement
    • Cost and cycle time reduction
    • Galluim Arsenide (GaAs) wafer cleaving and dicing
    • Provide training to operators for both current and new processing procedures
    • In charge of process characterization equipment (profilometer, spectrometer, ellipsometer)

    • It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem
    • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

    Qualifications

     

    • BS / MS Degree in Physics, Material Science, Chemical Engineering or equivelant technical work experience.
    • 5- 10 years of hands on experience in wafer fabrication processing of Gallium Asenide and/or Iduim Phosphide based materials
    • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
    • Must be able to work in a class 1000 clean room
    • Photo resist processing, thin film deposition and chemical etching experience required
