    Reporting to the OSI Senior Director of Taxes and the Rapiscan Director of Finance for EMEA, the Tax and Accounts Manager will have responsibility for preparation of statutory accounts, management of audits, and computation of taxes for the OSI Systems & Rapiscan Systems entities in the EMEA region. This position will work closely with the finance team in Salfords and with OSI’s finance service providers in other countries throughout the region to ensure statutory accounts and taxes are filed on time and to develop tax strategies for the company.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for creating statutory accounts for all Rapiscan Systems and OSI System entities in the EMEA region, including the UK, Finland, Norway, Albania, Egypt, Turkmenistan, and others as they the business grows.
    • Coordinate all audit work for US reporting, including both external and internal audit and internal controls reviews.
    • Work closely with auditors in the EMEA region to ensure accounts are filed on time.
    • Coordinate preparation of all corporate tax returns for the OSI Systems & Rapiscan entities in the EMEA region. Includes coordination of group relief for losses in the UK, if any.
    • Working closely with US-based tax team to develop and execute OSI’s broader global tax strategy.
    • Respond to queries and audits from government revenue agencies.
    • As OSI enters new countries, help determine the tax and regulatory implications and develop plans to ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
    • Engage with outsourced accounting firms in locations where OSI does not have a local finance presence and determine the best firm to utilize in each country.
    • Work with IT to migrate statutory reporting adjustments for non-US GAAP reporting into ERP system

    Qualifications

    • Extensive experience with international reporting and taxation.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with other strong personalities.
    • Outstanding analytical skills.
    • Manage the demands and pressure of multiple, conflicting priorities.

    Knowledge and Qualification

    • ACA or CIMA qualified
    • Strong Excel user with a high level of proficiency in other MS Office products required,
    • Experienced and confident in the use of ERP systems
