    Strategic Business Development Mgmt: Evaluates and manages new strategic business opportunities, initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, alliances and/or joint ventures. Oversees market analysis, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs.  Provides leadership in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementing of strategic business objectives. Defines vision, strategies, and tactics. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.Responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory/product line.  If incumbent is responsible for both existing and new accounts


    • Responsible for the overall performance of the sales functions as allocated.
    • Develop in conjunction with Local, Regional and International Sales the 5 year roadmap for the business.
    • Review sales programs monthly to ensure compliance to contract deliverables.
    • Enforce strict adherence to Radiation and Industrial Safety guidelines and best practices.
    • Actively seek out new business opportunities in line with the company’s goals and objectives to help grow the business for Rapiscan Detection.
    • Monitor, manage and report on a monthly basis key metrics to ensure successful bookings for the business.
    • Focus on meeting the bookings budget and forecasts on a monthly and quarterly basis
    • Keep upper management informed on a monthly basis through status reports and of any issues and opportunities that impact the business on a more frequent basis
    • Encourage innovation and motivate people through free thinking to come up with ideas to help grow the business
    • Assist with due diligence efforts on acquisitions that help grow the revenue for Rapiscan Systems
    • Negotiate within appropriate delegations agreements, contracts and leases
    • Undertake and support the business activities to grow in line with the strategic objectives and vision of the business
    • Plan Various operating process and procedures
    • Ensure alignment of business units to the overall strategy and plan of entire business group
    • Identify ,establish and manage strategic partnership with clients
    • Ensure sufficient follow up after marketing campaigns, networking and product launch events
    • Manage internal administration and process stakeholder relationship and ensure compliance with established process and procedures
    • Explore regional opportunities to expand outreach beyond Asia market to develop a comprehensive distribution network
    • Accomplishes marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, developing field sales action plans.
    • To support business strategies in promoting company product and services, make presentation to customers
    • Identifies marketing opportunities for launching/promoting company’s new services by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.
    • Able to support and assist in developing new business opportunities through direct or sale reps channel
    • To work with internal and external stakeholders  to identify processes and tooling to meet customers’ requirement, liaise with customer and provide support
    • Provide technical support to the customer and internal throughout the quotation process
    • Lead the project start up/project transfer during project stage
    • Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; improving company services; coordinating new product development.
    • Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends

    • Minimium a Degree in Business Adminstration, Marketing, Engineering and/ or related
    •  Typically 10+ years of related sales & marketing experience.
    • Experience in organizing customer visit and marketing engagement
    • Ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English
    • Advance Microsoft office skills
    • Highly motivated, with a focused and disciplined approach to the business process.
    • Able to draw on past experience and judgment to make effective decisions.
    • A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.
    • Ability to build effective customer relationships, and to create business strategies to close deals. Can think strategically and work tactically.
    • Strong presentation and communication skills for both internal and external audiences, at the top levels. Collaborative with highly developed relationship-building skills.
    • Experience delivering results through others, both direct and matrixed. Ability to lead, develop, motivate and hold others accountable.
    • Ability to manage multiple, complex priorities within demanding timeframes. Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
    • Competency in computer skills: MS Office, query tools, webex and database systems/applications.
    • Ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English
