    OSI Systems is currently seeking a Benefits Analyst who will focus on Benefits administration. Specifically, the position will support the implementation and administration of benefits plans. In addition, the position will maintain records and provide reporting requirements as required by management, including research and analyze data on assigned projects.

    Responsibilities

    • Administers various company sponsored benefits programs including medical, dental, life, disability, retirement and voluntary programs. Tracks employee eligibility and processes enrollments, changes, and terminations.
    • Ensures all benefit information on HRIS database is current and collaborates with Payroll and Finance to ensure billing and payroll deductions are accurate.
    • Conducts benefits orientations for new hires and coordinates various employee benefits events including annual health fair, flu shot clinics, open enrollment meetings and wellness activities.
    • Verifies and processes monthly premium statements for all group insurance policies and prepares finance cross charge reports.
    • Responds to general employee benefit questions in a responsive and professional manner and resolves employee concerns on a timely basis.
    • Handles the administration of FMLA, Worker’s Compensation and Leave of Absence claims and serves as the primary contact for employees applying for or receiving leave benefits (STD, LTD, FMLA, ADA, paid and unpaid leaves of absence).
    • Expands knowledge on related laws, regulations and practices affecting benefits by attending training and benefits educational events.
    • Maintains benefits web page and updates summary plan descriptions and plan documents as necessary.
    • Prepares and maintains employee benefit files assuring accuracy, compliance and confidentially.

    • It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem
    • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's level education in Human Resources or related fields.
    • 1+ years of Benefits and/or Payroll experience in a fast paced environment preferred.
    • Experienced in HRIS applications used in Human Resource tracking and reporting including global HRIS systems, Software as a Service (SaaS) applications, and a variety of social media applications including Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
    • LOA and/or Workers Comp experience preferred.
    • Proficient in basic business applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email in PC based systems.
    • Demonstrated ability to be a project leader, known for achieving critical objectives.
    • Detailed oriented person that acts with a sense of urgency.
    • Works well with data and performing detailed analysis of employee data.
    • Ability to communicate effectively using several modes of communication including face-to-face presentations and email and phone etiquette.
    • Demonstrates an upbeat and positive attitude toward job responsibilities and the accomplishment of critical business objectives.
    • Ability to speak Spanish helpful, but not necessary.
