    This role covers the South West of England, South Midlands and South Wales areas. This varied role encompasses working in the field with minimum supervision, providing both service and user support. Requires excellent focus to diagnose customer problems, along with good communication skills with both customers and colleagues

    Responsibilities

    RESPONSIBILITIES and GOALS:

    • Ensure customer satisfaction from the moment of sale onwards.
    • Improve customer knowledge on the use of Spacelabs equipment.
    • Communicate effectively with other departments within the Company in a professional manner.
    • Provide accurate details and feedback to Line Management.
    • Operate within the guidelines of the Company.
    • Attend both pre-scheduled or demand service visits.
    • Fault diagnosis and repair.
    • Identify problem areas and report these back via correct channels.
    • Ensure all relevant documentation is carried out.
    • Install new equipment and train customers on its function.
    • Promote whenever applicable the services and products of Spacelabs Healthcare Ltd.
    • Uphold the Company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.
    • Demonstrate behaviour consistent with the Company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.
    • It is the responsibility of every Spacelabs Healthcare employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
    • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

    Qualifications

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • ONC or equivalent in electronic/electric engineering.
    • Comptia Network+ or equivalent certified.
    • A good understanding of networking and related services (TCP/IP,DNS,HTTP,FTP etc.).
    • Proficiency configuring and fault finding Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop.
    • Microsoft SQL scripting experience preferred but not required.
    • A good degree of commercial awareness.
    • Excellent attention to detail to diagnose equipment faults accurately.
    • Effective and professional communication skills with customers and colleagues.
    • Travel: Domestic travel is required >50% .
    • Must be able to complete job responsibilities working with global time zone needs such as attending late night/early morning meetings by phone and/or web to meet global business needs: 15%.OTHER WORK REQUIREMENTS:
    • Successful completion of Spacelabs training required (including training done at Company location). Must become fully competent in the application and operation of all assigned products and systems.
    • Work various shifts as deemed necessary for successful installation and training.
    • Required to register with a vendor credentialing service. As part of this process, may be required to submit personal information to a credentialing service company, provide proof of vaccinations or related medical information, and comply with other requirements needed to be able to work at customer site.
    • Must maintain a good driving record and be insurable per company policy.
    • Maintain demo inventory in salable condition, including proper storage, movement and record keeping.
