    OSI Systems is seeking a Finance & Accounting Global Business Process Owner (GBPO). The GBPO is responsible for leading change initiatives within Finance/Accounting department to support process improvements and develop new capabilities to drive costs efficiencies, customer service improvements, financial visibility and support revenue protection. The GBPO also is responsible for definition, development and ongoing performance management, optimization and compliance of Finance and Accounting processes across all business units. This includes ensuring that processes are optimized and automated within the Enterprise Resource Planning System. The GBPO will be an expert in the finance and projects modules of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP system and will ensure the system solution for finance based processes and finance interactions are optimized and standardized across the business enterprise. The GBPO promotes continuous improvement through measurement and monitoring of key process KPI’s and benchmarks. The GBPO is also responsible for alignment of Finance and Accounting with HR, Legal, Compliance, Sales and Business Operations policies and identification of complementary technologies to achieve required business outcomes.



    • Continually work with the Corporate Controller and other Finance department stakeholders to understand and document the company’s critical finance processes that will be incorporated into the ERP system solution and act as a resident expert in all issues arising in the live Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment in the Financials and Projects domains.
    • Build a strong global virtual team with representation from all business units to optimize finance/accounting processes and eliminate inefficiencies and redundancies and facilitate solution definition with subject matter experts and process owners. Collaborate with other business, and IT stakeholders where applicable, to develop clear and complete solution requirements that translate to solid system requirements and align with business process, and internal control, objectives.
    • Lead multiple projects and work closely with developers, functional key users, Microsoft and other technical resources to ensure that specifications are met, and improve business processes and support critical business strategies by managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of finance and projects applications systems.
    • Manage business readiness for solution delivery. This includes but is not limited to ensuring test plans are complete and accurate, relevant policies and procedures have been created/updated, internal training plans and materials appropriately disseminated, and customers have been notified and/or trained on any relevant updates or changes.
    • Develope governance and oversight processes to surface process change requirements, aligning strategic goals for the process with divisional/business unit requirements. Drive approval of defined and agreed process through the Business Operations Committee. Identify and resolve issues related to process standardization and other internal controls throughout the process. Where required, develop and maintain change management programs to implement approved process.
    • Develop a deep understanding of current state processes to fully document strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for improvement and define and gain agreement for end state processes, and ensure current and future processes fully support data integrity and internal control requirements across the enterprise.
    • Define and develop processes to support functional shared services within the enterprise where applicable, and ensure deployment of consistent functional processes within the ERP systems across all business units globally. Specifically, manage changes to the global process template, minimizing cost and variance between business units. Where required work with other GBPO’s to ensure all financial (AR/AP/GL/Costing) processes touching quote to cash, procure to pay, design to build is harmonized and is used consistently.
    • Work with functional leaders to develop appropriate performance and efficiency metrics for the functional process domain, to identify and support continuous improvement activities and develop and manage metrics and performance scorecards to identify data quality or process efficiency issues.
    • Ensure process and system design & configuration consistency for budgeting and financial reporting requirements including alignment with Master Data Management processes.
    • Drive change activities and programs to eliminate process issues and improve business outcomes.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field.
    • 12+ years of Finance Project Management experience.
    • Proven experience in large ERP and Microsoft Technology/development stacks (MS Dynamics, MS SQL, VSTS, TFS, ASP.NET).
    • MCSA Dynamics 365 and/or MCSE Business Applications preferred.
    • Must have strong understanding of Finance and Accounting process flows in a multi-site, multi-entity corporation.
    • Recognizes the positive affect of collaboration, thrives when managing and planning project elements and working with team members.
    • Able to build a strong rapport with others but can also work independently. 
    • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills; have a background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis.
    • Possess a keen mind for discovering and defining business processes, requirements and their relationship to provide continuity in all major application decisions.
    • Possess and use business savvy to make decisions regarding product features the end user will access to drive the products planned results.
    • Able to define problems effectively, assemble and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and make sound recommendations to executive management and customers.
    • Takes initiative, has a competitive drive and the ability to stay focused on results despite ambiguity and/or changing conditions.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple, often competing project workloads and activities
    • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development, infrastructure technology or web technologies.
    • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
    • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
    • Proven experience defining and optimizing Finance accounting processes within an Enterprise Resource Planning system.
    • National and International Travel required - up to 50%.  Must have appropriate travel documents.
