    OSIE is seeking a an experienced ICT & Functional Test Engineer team member. Team member will create customer specific production test solutions for original products and update/maintain existing electronic test capabilities and equipment.


    • Interface with stakeholders to completely understand test requirements.
    • Plan, develop, create, build, and validate In-Circuit test, Flying Probe, Boundary Scan, and functional test solutions for electronic production products and end-customers. 
    • Provide direction to lab technicians as well as provide hands-on involvement in the installation, set-up, calibration and operation of test automation, instrumentation, data acquisition and support equipment required to perform tests.
    • Determine if the component(s) / system(s) under evaluation are operating according to the intended design criteria, and diagnosing any problems to determine and implement corrective action.
    • Interface effectively with support groups and customers, such as Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Manufacturing.
    • Collect and analyze test data; using test data to identify trends or problems. Communicate data with others effectively; both verbally and in writing via formal technical test reports.
    • Establish, document, and follow lab test procedures

    • It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem
    • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.


    • BS degree preferred in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related disciplines
    • 8+ years experience developing and executing automated test scripts and/or functional test
    • Sound reasoning methods, and a methodical approach to problem-solving
    • Ability to work independently and recognize issues that need to be escalated.
    • Ability to conduct technical hands-on and analytical tasks with little supervision.
    • Enthusiastic "hands-on" approach
    • Ability to read and interpret technical engineering documents and drawings.
    • Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux
    • Knowledge of scripting and/or basic C/C++ or Java programming
    • Demonstrated root-cause identification and problem solving skills
    • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to influence technical direction.
    • Quality orientation with a strong eye for detail
    • Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills
    • Electronic troubleshooting skills
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Active Secret Clearance preferred.
    • Must be a U.S. person or able to obtain an Export Authorization from the appropriate government agency for non-U.S. persons.*
