    PFC Flexible Circuits Ltd, a division of OSI Electronics, is seeking a Human Resources Representative PFC Division, with occasional support for OSIO, Spacelabs and Rapiscan Canadian divisions. HR Representative will be responsible for all aspects of human resources within assigned business entities. Performs a wide variety of professional level duties in the areas of employee relations, talent management, benefits and recruiting. Participates on cross-functional initiatives, special projects and process improvement initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    • Serving as a partner and resource to business unit leadership and HR to ensure continuous communication and connectivity between Division HR and the business;
    • Implements and administers effective programs spanning the breadth of the HR function, with focus on talent and performance management, change management, employee relations, recruiting, total rewards. Supporting OSIO, Spacelabs and/or Rapiscan Canada as needed.
    • Responsible for the investigation and resolution of employee relations matters.
    • Possesses strong analytical skills. Ability to assess processes and outcomes by establishing solid metrics of performance.
    • Execute solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation.
    • Plans, participates in, and evaluates special projects requiring coordination of activities across departmental and functional lines.
    • Understands the effect of new laws or administrative regulations on human resources programs, and assists in the design of procedures and forms for policy implementation.
    • Facilitate training and leadership development for assigned business entity.
    • Assist with payroll as necessary. Planning of benefit-related events (open enrollment, etc.)

    • It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem
    • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

     

    Qualifications

    • BS/BA in Business Administration, Human Resource Management or related field.
    • 1-3 years of Human Resources experience with emphasis in supporting a manufacturing or technology workforce.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to partner and build relationships with leadership, managers and all levels of coworkers.
    • Demonstrated Business Acumen as represented by financial or HR analysis and decision support.
    • Authentic individual with impeccable integrity, whose personal and professional values are consistent with OSI System’s mission, vision and leadership framework.
    • Servant leader who puts the interests of the broader team and the organization’s goals ahead of their own personal agenda.
    • Possesses strong analytical skills. Ability to assess processes and outcomes by establishing solid metrics of performance.
    • Performance-driven individual who is a critical thinker with a metrics-driven approach to all solutions.
    • Ability to handle stressful situations and multiple tasks with composure.
    • Current knowledge of Federal, Ontario and Quebec legal regulations and practices for HR.
    • Must be able to travel to job sites and other locations as required; up to 5%.

     

    OSI Systems, Inc. has three operating divisions: (a) Security, providing security and inspection systems, turnkey security screening solutions and related services; (b) Healthcare, providing patient monitoring, diagnostic cardiology and anesthesia systems; and (c) Optoelectronics and Manufacturing, providing specialized electronic components and electronic manufacturing services for original equipment manufacturers with applications in the defense, aerospace, medical and industrial markets, among others.
