    OSI Systems is seeking a Treasurer and Director of Reporting.

    Responsibilities

    Treasury Function

    • Serve as the company’s primary interface with banking partners. Manage the ongoing relationships in a positive and collaborative manner, and also serve as a key player when negotiating renewals or new bank relationships.
    • Daily oversight and management of corporate bank accounts to ensure accounts are funded and transactions are appropriately controlled and approved.
    • Utilize the company’s revolving line of credit to fund operating needs in a cost efficient manner.
    • Create and distribute weekly liquidity reports including business insights needed to support executive decision making.
    • Create and distribute monthly interest expense reports and forecasts, including loading data to company reporting systems.
    • Create and distribute quarterly accurate and insightful cash flow forecasts and annual budgets.
    • Responsible for credit facility administration:
    • Generate quarterly compliance reporting and officer certificates.
    • Borrowing requests.
    • Annual projections and ad hoc analysis as required.
    • Bankers’ request for reporting and information.
    • Negotiate letters of credit to support the company’s global business units. Duties include tracking, reporting and administering these letters of credit.
    • Serve as the company’s purchasing card (P Card) administrator and work with division level colleagues who administer business unit P Cards.
    • Create an annual listing and report of the company’s banking relationships and review with senior management.
    • Responsible for account administration and tracking of equity share repurchases made by the company.

    Financial Reporting

    Monthly Close Process

    • Calculate and prepare interest expense entries.
    • Load cash flow forecasts into the company’s reporting system.
    • Compile and publish the OSI Executive review package with insightful analysis and business discussion.
    • Prepare analysis and journal entries as needed related to contingent earn out liabilities and associated accretion calculations.
    • Schedules reviews with the VP, Corporate Controller and other executives.

    Quarterly and Annual Close Processes

    • Prepare equity roll forward schedules and analysis.
    • Prepare the debt footnote / discussion and related analysis for use in 10-Q / 10-K disclosures and footnotes.
    • Prepare the business combinations footnote / discussion and related analysis for use in 10-Q / 10-K disclosures and footnotes.
    • Participate and coordinate the process to compile, proofread, tie-out, and publish the 10-Q /10-K.
    • Contribute to flash reports and other internal reporting.
    • Contribute to press releases and other external reporting.
    • Author business narratives required for internal control purposes and coordinate the writing of similar narratives by others in the organization, including both corporate and divisional entities.
    • Coordinate with the company’s internal audit team and external auditors.
    • Schedule and lead reviews with the VP, Corporate Controller and other executives.

    Presentations and Reporting Packages

    • Compile and publish monthly the OSI Executive review package with insightful analysis and business discussion.
    • Work closely with the VP, Corporate Controller and Chief Financial Officer to prepare board of director presentations and analysis. Additionally, prepare presentation for company off-sites.
    • Prepare / contribute to presentations to investors / market analysts. 

    Leadership

    • Directly manage financial reporting analyst(s) who are responsible for multiple monthly reports, analysis and business narratives.
    • Advise senior management regarding cash flow / forecasts, borrowing, interest expense, and other relevant topics.
    • Organize, schedule and coordinate the activities of colleagues and indirect reports to ensure monthly, quarterly and annual accounting close process are completed on time, and the required SEC disclosures are prepared in a highly accurate and timely manner.

    Qualifications

    • Candidate will have earned undergraduate and master (MBA) degree in business administration. Desired concentrations include accounting and corporate finance.
    • 15 years of relevant work experience including significant leadership roles in treasury and / or corporate finance functions.
    • Professional certifications such as CPA and CTP will distinguish a candidate.
    • Public company and SEC reporting experience is preferred.
    • Merger and acquisition (M&A) experience is preferred, including financial modeling, due diligence and business integration.
    • Experience working with a multi-location organization, including meaningful international work experience is highly desirable.
    • Experience with foreign exchange transactions, hedging and planning.
    • Experience using Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Candidates must have strong PowerPoint skills and the demonstrated ability to present insightful business discussions to executives.
    • The ideal candidate is highly intelligent and can adapt to a dynamic business environment and corporate agenda.
    • Demonstrated leadership of direct reports as well as matrixed / indirect relationships is a critical requirement for this position.
