    The Service Logistics Manager position, reporting to the Director, Service Supply Chain, includes serving and/or leading cross functional teams and communicating with all Rapiscan manufacturing and service centers.

    Responsibilities

    • Serve as the Service Supply Chain lead for TSA ILS Program Support
    • Manage demand planning activities
      • Maintain 3PL min/max requirements and replenishment
      • Manage Navision Safety Stock requirements for purchasing
      • Manage special requirements for projects
    • Manage order fulfillment for parts and designated services
    • Coordinate advance purchase of material with OPS
    • Communicate with OPS as the central POC for order updates, change requests and order escalations and communicating shortages
    • Prioritize order fulfillment daily, weekly, monthly
    • Determine the most efficient sourcing and cost (freight) mitigation options in concert with OPS
    • Compile performance metrics for order fulfillment
      • Track On-Time Delivery; Mean Time To Ship; Order Fill rate
    • Resolve customer escalations internally or directly with the customer
    • Support material planning and execution for designated projects. Projects include but not limited to:
      • System upgrades
      • System installation
      • Deployments/Redeployments, relocations and decommissions
    • Provide direct support logistics to US Government programs (domestic and international)
      • Liaise with program teams on spares forecasting and quoting
    • Conduct other activities as directed
    • Must be available to be On-Call for escalations after hours and travel (up to 10%)

    • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
    • Must be available to be On-Call for escalations after hours and travel (up to 10%)

     

     

    Qualifications

    • Must be US Persons based on ITAR definition (US Citizen or Permanent Resident)
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain or Aerospace Management a plus
    • 8+ years significant experience in one or all of the following areas; procurement, supply chain, transportation/logistics or production operations
    • Must be self-starter and deadline driven
    • Must be a team player with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, quality and purchasing.
    • Ability to understand complex contracts and summarize key terms
    • Exceptional computer, analytical, and research skills
    • Ability to interface with senior management and assist in negotiations with suppliers.
    • Proficient in computer skills with Microsoft Office programs.
    • Strong negotiation skills
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Global supplier experience
    • Experience working with suppliers in a manufacturing environment
