    The Product Manager holds primary responsibility for driving and enabling sales growth for key Spacelabs monitor products, software and services. Specific responsibilities include product development research, pricing, launching new offerings, positioning new products in a competitive market, and developing synchronization of capabilities across Anesthesia, Cardiology, Supply & Accessories and defibrillation product lines. Requires close collaboration and interface with R&D and Sales.


    • Develop comprehensive product roadmap lifecycle strategy by parameter, device and care area. Drive innovation and inclusion of unique capabilities to address viable market requirements.
    • Develop value based pricing strategies across all product families.
    • Develop key opinion leader relationships to create unique clinical positioning through the use of white papers, case studies and focus groups.
    • Develop innovative capabilities to enable hospitals to capture/charge revenue.
    • Provide comprehensive product training to downstream leaders and distributors, and act as product expert for sales and clinical employee training sessions.
    • Facilitate webinars and on-site meetings to help the customer clinical leaders preview and gain understanding of Spacelabs Solution and determine best practices.
    • Communicate all relevant customer information including product and/or customer problems or opportunities to appropriate Spacelabs personnel. Support Spacelabs business, mission and goals.
    • Develop and track metrics, benchmarks and success criteria to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of new product enhancements (ROI success).

    • It is the responsibility of every Spacelabs Healthcare employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
    • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.


    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field. MA/MBA preferred.
    • Experience in capital device product management. Medical device experience preferred.
    • Global product experience in EMEA, China, India and/or South America. Ability to speak foreign language(s) preferred.
    • Ability to manage multiple, complex priorities within demanding timeframes. Strong project management and decision making skills.
    • Ability to deliver results through others, both direct and matrixed.  Ability to lead, develop, motivate and hold others accountable.
    • Highly developed relationship-building skills.
    • Speciality knowledge may be defined and required, based on the assigned products/product line.
