    The Manager Document & Configuration Management, Checkpoint plans, coordinates and manages programs and processes designed to ensure effective management and implementation of the company documentation and configuration management processes.  You must have a proven track record of success in the Security Systems, Aerospace, Medical Device or similar, regulated industries. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of data between Agile and the ERP system, and establishing the process for maintaining an effective change management process



    • Implement the corporate documentation and configuration management strategy.
    • Manage the company's documentation and configuration management system (Agile).
    • Train users on the proper use of Rapiscan configuration management tools and systems.
    • Manage the team of configuration analysts and ensure they are effectively trained and mentored.
    • Oversee Configuration Control Boards (CCB) and Functional/Physical Configuration Audits (FCA/PCA).
    • Participate in NPI and sustaining engineering (design change, process change, etc.) projects and other company initiatives to ensure they adhere to and satisfy configuration management requirements.
    • Create configuration management plans for government and commercial programs.
    • Ensure configuration management requirements are met for all government and commercial programs and are compliant with all applicable industry, local, national and international regulatory requirements and standards.
    • Gain cross-business consensus, where possible, to establish new processes and implement effective change management.
    • Establish product and processes metrics that effectively measure and improve performance of documentation and configuration management processes.
    • Follow corporate policies and technical procedures.

    • It is the responsibility of every Rapiscan Systems employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
    • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.


    • A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study preferred.
    • 5+ years of leadership experience at a manager level, with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage people and teams.
    • 3–5 years of product configuration management (documentation management experience highly desired).
    • 3 years of experience working in a highly regulated environment (security systems, medical device, aerospace, etc.).
    • Proven ability to develop and implement short-term and long-term strategies to realize results.
    • Proven ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally with staff at all levels of the organization.
    • Excellent technical writing and presentation skills.
    • Must be able to effectively work with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agency representatives, customers and suppliers.
    • Candidate must be performance and results oriented and able to develop, motivate and lead strong, effective, teams.
