    The BPI Field Service Engineer will provide Installation, repair and maintenance support of the full range of Rapiscan’s Checkpoint & Trace product’s in the UK & EMEA. Must be located with easy access to Heathrow and Gatwick.


    • Installation of the full range of the Company’s Checkpoint & Trace products at customer premises in the UK and EMEA. 
    • Routine preventative and breakdown maintenance of the Company’s equipment at customer premises in the UK and EMEA. 
    • Provide out of hours standby cover as part of established teams. 
    • Carry out basic Operator and Technical training when required at customer premises.
    • Carry out site surveys and advise customer on technical matters prior to installations.
    • Learn the basics of HBS products so assistance can be given to other teams.
    • Provide feedback to Engineering, Product Line Management and QA as part of our continuous improvement programme.

    • Demonstratable experience with Electronics and Computers
    • Electromechanical preferred
    • Demonstratable ability to work effectively in customer facing environment
    • Process complex systems and logically work through issues
    • Naturally calm and methodical in stressful situations
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills required to work with external and internal customers.Keen to learn new products & technology
    • Flexibility with working hours.
    • We will also consider someone with the above technical background who would like to move into Field Service.
