    OSI Optoelectronics is seeking an Assembler I to perform limited electronic and electro mechanical production assembly and assembly operations of repetitive nature to build up and assemble routine units.

    Responsibilities

    • Use small hand tools, soldering irons, tweezers, under microscope.
    • Works with epoxy and other chemicals.
    • Operates from Assembly drawings, diagrams, blueprints or previously established methods.
    • Performs other work-related duties, as assigned.
    • Uphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork
    • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct
    • It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem
    • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Knowledge of component identification.
    • Ability to understand Assembly drawings.
    • Ability to effectively read, write and communicate using English language.
