    The Business Intelligence and Integrations (BII) Specialist manages the enterprise Data Integration and Data Warehouse applications. The BII Specialist participates in the design, development, and maintenance of all enterprise application Integration and Data analysis activities. These activities include creating new Integrations, managing the performance of existing integrations and create data repository for BI and DW activities, generate ad hoc reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users using system tools and database or data warehouse queries and scripts. The BII Specialist will ensure the proper maintenance of the development, test and training environments and will be integrally involved in configuration management and change control activities between development, test and production environments. In addition, the BII specialist shall create technical design documents related to enhancements and changes required by our internal customers and will be asked to mentor other team members in these activities.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and administer the enterprise application data analysis and integration related enterprise applications, following development procedures that ensure the security and integrity of enterprise databases and applications.
    • Manage and work with Database administrators to support the enterprise databases and the database servers related to application/ data integrations, providing support for all enterprise applications as it relates to data quality management.
    • Work with others in the IT organization to construct data models and database designs that meet customer requirements.
    • Participate in the implementation of IT projects that involve new or significant changes to enterprise applications and databases.
    • Maintain internal database files and tables and developing custom reports to meet the requirements.
    • Work with team members from the infrastructure team to specify the requirements for data management projects.
    • Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve data performance issues, data replication, and other common issues arising in a distributed architecture.

    • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
    • 8+ years of experience in database and/or application development fields
    • SQL Server and Oracle
    • 3+ years AX experience; 1 year of D365
    • Knowledge of Scribe/ To-Increase BIS/ PowerBI/ CRM/ Oracle Administration, is a plus.
    • Excellent analytical skills
    • Ability to effectively read, write and communicate using the English language.
