The Technical Trainer will assist in the development and conduct training of the latest technology in x-ray and scanning equipment that exist in a variety of product lines. The Trainer will assist in the development of instructor guides, student guides, create quizzes and tests, and practical performance tests as needed. This role will report directly to the Training Director and assist as needed with all training needs. The primary objective is  assist in the development and provide training solutions for all S2 Global operators and government and private clients personnel so that they have the necessary knowledge and skills required to contractual initiatives, cost control, customer retention, employee retention and overall productivity. Training may be conducted at a designated S2 training site or at a customer site.


  • Work with Subject Matter Experts and assist develop training material.

  • Conduct classroom and onsite training.

  • May assist with needs assessment process for training and materials.

  • Material development and delivery.

  • Resolve problems as they arise in assigned projects.

  • Provide feedback to management team.

  • Travel (domestic and internationally) as required for various trainings at S2 Global  and customer sites.

  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.




  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience. 
  • 5+ years of experience in related fields preferred.
  • Knowledge of X-ray imaging/security systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ports and border security operations, maritime and aviation operations and law enforcement, military or a security background is a plus.
  • Must have a valid US passport.

Position requires US Citizenship due to our contract w/ the US Government.
