Successful candidate must be able to commit to a full time; four to six month Internship/Co-Op.

 

The Software Design Intern will apply software skills learn in the classroom to the development of real-world applications.

 

Responsibilities

  • Be involved in project lifecycle, from concept to test to deployment.
  • Assist in the design of Trace (ITMS™ technology)
  • Test and evaluate software releases.
  • Work to develop and apply advanced methods to create, design and develop complex software programs and applications.
  • Develop software for embedded systems
  • Uphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct
  • It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field and have finished at least 2 years of a university program.
  • Must be proficient in C++ development
  • Proficient in developing in a Windows and/or Linux environment 
  • Highly organized, innovative and creative
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • Must be a US Citizen or be US Permanent Resident
