The Global Service Training Manager will determine training needs, delivery strategies, criteria, volume and content, working with key field personnel and outsourced service providers. This role will coordinate and oversee scheduling of technical and equipment orientation, as well as advanced training programs.  In addition, this role will track and measure trainings delivered, as well as the results.


  • Lead the training implementation and delivery operations globally to ensure that the delivery of core courses and programs is cost effective, consistent, efficient, and meets or exceeds customer expectations
  • Implement systemic processes and technologies to maximize the learning experience with a focus on delivery of training curriculums to meet student performance and development needs in all geographies
  • Drive process thinking and the use of metrics throughout the learning function to ensure learning initiatives are linked to business outcomes.
  • Lead the establishment of systems and processes, standards and measurements that assure quality, accuracy, effectiveness and ROI of training programs, tools and resources
  • Manage vendor pools for training curriculums in all geographies
  • Develop implementation strategy and related processes, standards, tools and templates and manage staff through development and execution of training implementation plans
  • Assess and select technology related to delivery of training in all geographies
  • Collaborate with Program Management team on program strategy, implementation, and effectiveness
  • Oversee training certification and maintenance of trainer pools in each geography

  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; Advanced degree a plus.
  • Major in Instructional Design or Education preferred.
  • 5+ years in learning and development
  • In support of technical products:
    • Operator training
    • Maintenance training – Service Engineers
    • Technical Support Call Center operator training
    • 5+ years’ experience in project management, product development, operations and customer service/sales desired.
    • Instructional design skills and experience preferred
    • Possess strong leadership skills with an ability to work effectively and accomplish tasks, projects, and goals through influencing others within a complex organizational structure.
    • Strong supplier management skills
    • Effective presentation and communication skills
    • Experience deploying global solutions
    • Experience in leading and managing others virtually / remotely
  • Experience in developing strategies for deploying learning and development solutions in each geography, including implementation and delivery of core courses and programs across different geographies
  • National and International travel required – up to 35%
